It has many software pre-installed like any other operating system , but not all the software we like to use for an example the Default Internet Browser given by Ubuntu is the Mozilla Firefox which is good but not the best as compare to Google Chrome. So this is my post on How To Install Google Chrome in Ubuntu.

Click Download and a small window will pop up with some download options.

The top two options are the ones we want the “.deb” check the box next to the correct format for your system 32-bit or 64-bit.

Note: Google no longer provides 32-bit versions for Linux – you are only able to get 64-bit versions for Linux as of at least February 2016

Once the Download completes you will have a file like this in your downloads folder. Once its complete lets double click it.

Give your PC a few moments and the ubuntu software center should open up with the .deb file you have downloaded ready to install. (I already have chrome installed) Click the install button and you will be prompted for your password to start the installation. This should take no more that 2mins to install.
