Oppo launches new F1 and F1 Plus Smartphone

At the same time, the company also announced the F1 Plus which is being touted as a high spec variant of the F1 at a price of Rs.26,990. It will be available for buy starting in April.

The F1 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with phase detection autofocus (quick focus in as much as 0.1s) and LED flash. It comes with an 8-megapixel camera on the front with f/2.0 aperture lens. The selfie cam comes with Oppo’s Pure Image 2.0+ photography platform that offers features like Beautify 3.0, screen flash for low-light conditions, and the capability to shoot pictures using hand gestures and spoken commands.


The phone comes with full metal unibody and features a 5-inch HD IPS display protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 4 (2.5D). It packs in a 1.7GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor with Adreno 405 GPU and 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory which is expandable by up to 128GB via microSD card. The dualSIM phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop-based ColorOS 2.1 which is Oppo’s custom skin. The phone is backed by a 2,500mAh battery. The F1 will be available in two colours: Golden and Rose Gold.

The F1 Plus meanwhile comes with a larger 5.5-inch FullHD display and 4 gigs of RAM. The company will also expand its offline sales outlets to 35,000 and target 180+ service centers across the country, it announced. Additionally, the company will be offering a 30-day replacement period and 24-month warranty policy for every Oppo product sold across India.
